Hello everyone - I hope your summer is fabuous in every way. Rumour [I hate rumours] say health matters are going to be rough and tough come mid October.

BUT - I enjoyed every moment of this trip. So as some say - "live the moment" - and I did.

Camp site marker. Kitchen shelter with bear spray (1) at the centre on the pole We had a hefty rain in the evening; it was good to have.

I used my A-Frame [6 man] tent this trip and marked it with my usual bear paw symbol. The tree strap holds my toilet paper, bear spray (2), shave kit, first aid kit, and lower down is my mess kit, rake, and camera.

A hammock for an afternoon nap. Close enough to a tree so one could give one's self a gentle sway. The water was fantastic - beautifully clear, nice and warm.
And then there is me waiting for a bus?

Next stop is Camp Wendake for a week on Lake Huron. If all goes as planned will have a ten-day-er in early September at Balsam Lake. Since we will have a stationary basecamp the menu will be stupendous. Yep, the water is as refreshing as it looks.
