Any bass fishermen try bacon for bait? I was just reading that bass are supposed to eat this stuff up like crazy. I would assume uncooked. Someone also told me it works great for catching lobsters.

I know it works well for lobsters, as well as for crawdads (crawfish, whatever you prefer). We use it raw and they do love it. I have heard about it working for certain fish species but never tried it.

Crawfish, crabs and lobsters make sense to me, but I've never heard of the bass thing. I'll have to suggest it to my dad (big bass fisherman) and see if he has any luck with it.
