The best guns for hunting are guns that are light & easy to carry. They should have a large enough caliber to stop your prey so you don't have to wear yourself out tracking but not too large a caliber to do too much damage to the meat of the animal.
It needs to be accurate enough to easily take game & adjustable for someone with good eyes as well as bad eyes.
It should have enough reach to take down prey at distance & still be able to take them at close range without over penetration.
