(Camping) Five jailed in Dillon Beach attack on teens

Five men were arrested on robbery and kidnapping allegations after they were linked to an attack against two teenage campers in Dillon Beach, the sheriff's department said.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Lawson's Landing, where the 16-year-old victims were camping with family.

The victims said five suspects confronted them at the campground and beat them, said sheriff's Sgt. Debra Barry. One of the suspects had a gun and two others had knives, and the victims reported they were punched and kicked, Barry said.

Some people will never cease to amaze me with their sheer stupidity. What kind of ignorant person has the audacity to beat a teenager, and what do they gain of it? I suppose that is 5 more behind bars who are well deserving of it!
