Casualties of the snow storm

I was very sad to discover that I lost 2 of my fruit trees in the 14 inches of heavy snow that fell last week. My only cherry tree lost the largest main branch, and one of my apple trees split in half. I have 9 other apple trees, but my cherry tree was my pride and joy....I harvested approximately 30 cups of pitted cherries a season from that tree. We lost another large branch in an ice storm a year ago, so this latest branch has nearly destroyed the tree. :(

Sorry to hear about your trees. I absolutely love fruit trees, although at the moment I dont have any. Fruit sure does taste better straight off the tree than any store bought fruit.

Sorry for your loss. You try growing another tree but it will take time for it to mature and produce fruit. I've only planted veggies that need only months to grow so I don't know how much effort you need to do to grow a fruit tree.
