I am planning a 3-4 day hiking trip, unsure yet of exactly where I am going, but I did a short video of what all I will be taking. Check it out and let me know what you think. I am sure I will do a little bit of tweaking on some of it, but most of these items are my essential weekend hike items.

informative video great for beginners. My food bag is bout the same size for 3 or 4 days but needless to say way different I am a Cajun country boy and dried shrimp beef jerky smoked fish and instant rice go in my light quick food kit I also love the oatmeal for breakfast and pack 2 or more instant packs per day. big bowl of that does great to start a hard day. powdered milk f ya like it creamy works too. I am also a coffee guy instant when walking but when paddling I pack my peculator.
