Nice kit. Mine consists of a couple of bic lighters and a film canister full of cotton balls smeared with petroleum jelly. Sometimes a candle stub or 2 as well,and I always have a couple bottles full of hand sanitizer.

Fire Kit

Nice kit. Mine consists of a couple of bic lighters and a film canister full of cotton balls smeared with petroleum jelly. Sometimes a candle stub or 2 as well,and I always have a couple bottles full of hand sanitizer.

Everyone should have a candle stub for them days when everything is damp. Once the fire is going pull the candle out put it back in your kit for next time. Cotton balls with PJ don't mess, you will have a fire. In my kit I use the fatwood for them days when it's damp and need a little extra help.
