Steamer

Last year we took a steamer with us camping. We also took fresh green beans, squash, and corn from the garden. We steamed all this food while the burgers cooked on the grill.
We always get a campsite with electric.
Anyone ever do this?

I'm not a big fan of steamed vegetables myself. I'd much rather have them grilled or roasted, but I think that it's great that you bring along the kitchen items that are important to your family. If you have electricity and the room to pack it you can bring everything but the kitchen sink, lol.

I love grilled veggies too, this is just something different. And it's healthier too. Throw in the kitchen sink too, why not? :tinysmile_fatgrin_t
It was the first time we brought it last year and really it was because of lack of planning. I like to get things ready the day before we go and I didn't get the veggies soaking in marinade in time.
