Garner State Park is popular among campers and boasts the most overnight visitors of any park in Texas. With over 200,000 overnight visitors each year, it is best to make reservations. This is a wonderful park for outdoor fun. It includes and 18-hole Putt Putt golf course, tubing, kayaking, hiking and mountain biking. You will also enjoy an abundance of nature from white tailed deer to black rock squirrels. You will enjoy hiking through canyons and across clear refreshing streams. Although the park covers a mere 1400 acres, it is a favorite destination for families. You can set up camp or rent one of the many available cabins.
