But the most famous activity at Grayland Beach State Park is by far flying kites. Almost every day is perfect weather to fly a kite, and it is common to see many kites floating in the air at once along the beach. Whether you make your own kite or pick one up from the store, flying them here on the beautiful beach is a great way to bond with your lover, your children, or your friends.
If you’re more interested in the natural aspects of the park, it is easy to get lost in the splendor of the environment. Not only can you experience a rich variety of sea life, including octopuses, shrimp, clams, fish, and more, but you can also see a diversity of animals on the land as well. During the summer, the park is open from 6:30 am until 10pm, and in the winter 8am until 5pm. However, you get 24 access to the park and its facilities.
