I figured out that my sleeping mat will fit inside of the fleece bag liner. Compress_20240513_201608_8101.jpg
I like sleeping on something the soft fleece other then the sleeping pads plastic surface. Then all I need is a blanket to cover up with.

THINGS I LIKE ABOUT TENT/CANOE CAMPING

Camping/Canoeing has made me a lot calmer, relaxed, happier, and respectful of the great outdoors.
I've come to realize what little I need to take care of myself in a possibly hostile environment.
Time becomes irrelevant, other than...

I read this recently - here is the full text unchanged.

"One way to secure your tent from the inside is to use a tent lock.
This special lock attaches to the zippers of your tent and prevents anyone from opening the zippers...

I remember as a child
folding white paper and cutting out pieces to make a snowflake.

Tents & Tarps Sat, 04 May 2024 15:07:06 +0000 https://outdoorbasecamp.com/forum/threads/tents-tarps.16649/ https://outdoorbasecamp.com/forum/threads/tents-tarps.16649/ [email protected] (Northern Dancer) Northern Dancer I've used tents [a lot of them] and different kinds of tarps but not a tarp over a tent. Yep...that's it! Knots. I don't know why other than I don't seem to have a lot of manual dexterity. But they are important if you are taking your outdoor skills seriously. Each knot is designed for a particular purpose and can be helpful. The ones that I seem to use the most would include the following:

I was thinking to myself
while reading several posts
about how fantastic so many of the articles were.
More especially the contributions made by so many individuals.
Some people pop in from time to time, while others sort
of hang around a bit more while others are pillars.
There's wisdom, humour, good advice, photography, and experience
here. It's freely shared in an atmosphere of respect and it's
open to the pro as well as the amateur.
