We are having one heck of a gorgeous day here too. It is so funny because just two days ago it snowed and just two days before that it rained. I wish the weather would make up it's mind.

I think deep fried turkey is delicious but it isn't very good for you. I don't fry anything. All this talk about turkey is making me want Thanksgiving dinner.

I just go where I am told to go. We have never gone to a restaurant though and I wouldn't feel right about going to a restaurant for Thanksgiving anyway. It seems kind of sad to me-a place for people without families.

I start with ground sirloin and add 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup spinach, 1 egg, onion, and 2 tablespoons of your favorite cheese. Then you mix it all together and form four patties. It is delicious and so healthy.

We have an overabundance of deer in my area so I am all for hunting them as long as you are using the meat and not just hunting for a trophy. In my area a lot of families depend on what they get from hunting.

How many of you have decorations for the outside of your camper? My sister in law has lights for the different holidays (Red, White and Blue for the 4th of July, Pumpkins for Halloween, etc) that she clips to the awning. I just wondered if anyone else does this.

Having suffered several sprains I highly recommend not walking on it until your doctor clears you. It can take 6-8 weeks for it to fully heal. The doctor will most likely give you rehab exercises to do once it heals enough for movement.

I am really thankful we don't have a big tick problem in my neck of the woods. I don't know of any scentless tick repellents or bug repellents in general but I use Deep Woods Off.

I went to the greatest haunted house the other night. It was 4 stories tall and over 10,000 square feet. The special effects in the place were amazing and so were the actors. It was probably the best $20 I ever spent.

I haven't seen any of them but I am not easily scared either. I think they just look silly from the commercials. I might rent them and check them out though.

One would think that if you drove a very large pick up truck with a lift on it, that you would be very aware of your surroundings and what is behind you. Alas, that is not the case as my poor car can now attest to.

Our DNR keeps a pretty tight reign on poaching in my neck of the woods. This goes for small and large game and fish. There isn't a really big problem with it here.
