I saw a bear cub once but I don't have a picture. And I have seen a gazillion armadillos. What else? Let me think. Tons of snakes. But I have never seen a rattlesnake in the wild. Fox, turkeys, deer, wild hogs.
That is what happened to me....twice. Both times it hit something close to me and lit me up. Both times were at home though. It is a very scary thing to happen.
Not me. It was 96 degrees here this week and I went camping at Clark Hill Lake for a couple of days. Even did some hiking. I love the heat. Cold? Brrrr...yuck. :tinysmile_grin_t:
The Cohuttas is the place that came to mind when I read the original post. I've done all those crossings in sandals or Keens.
BTW.. we are neighbors. I'm on the other side of Atlanta and pass your town all the time.
