Camped out at Valens Lake on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until after lunch on Sunday.

The plan was simple -----> eat, read, and sleep. The weather cooperated by being cold, rainy, and wet, which as we all know is a direct result of rainfall. I ate very simply, made no fires, read a pile of stuff, and slept as much as a I could. I didn't have a schedule, there was no pattern and I stayed away from people [the few there were] and isolated myself. Oh, I did listen to favoured music and meditated in the morning and in the evening. Other than a few hikes around the lake I stayed mostly at my secluded site.

The evening temperatures and high winds encouraged me to stay in the tent near my heating device and curl up and read.

I need this kind of activity in my life occasionally. Doing nothing.

You have learned the art of relaxation. Never apologize for it.
Just returned from a similar trip. I look at forests for mental stimulation and do a few crossword puzzles sitting in the sun in the woods. The rest of the time I just like to be.
