Nephew got first doe

My nephew got a doe! He called me and then text me a picture of this dead doe. I felt for the doe but was proud of him. It’s his season that he could hunt and he just got a new bow and arrow set. It’s hanging in their garage – so now the fun begins. Hope he enjoys skinning it! Anyone else get anything yet?

Awesome job - I bet he is so proud! No one in my family has gotten one yet. We are waiting to fill the freezer! I'm not a hunter but the family sure loves venison.

I got a 6x7 mule buck, but congrats to the nephew on his big first. My elk season starts Wednesday, but waiting for my son to get here from Co to start hunting again.

Wehaaaa great job to your nephew.First deer is always the best!To me the best part is the skinning ,cutting and memories.Make sure he has pictures of his deer!!!!
