Loaded the bicycles up Saturday morning and took off for the New River trail in Virginia. We've done other sections of this trail last year. It was an old rail road line, 57 miles long, that follows most of the New River. We've been doing a section at a time, what's the rush?
I love the old rail road bridges.
There are huge cliffs along the trail. I can't get get a good vertical picture of them because of all the trees and underbrush growing. They must've done a lot of blasting for the choo choo. Good old trusty waiting at the county line.
Last bridge for the day. We will be back to continue on our journey another day.
