The fox method

Interesting. I've see coyotes and dogs do something similar but just thought they were playing in the new snow.

That is pretty cool. Interesting that their chance of success goes up when pointing north.

I've seen this before. Fox have unbelievable ears. They can hear the mice down below the snow cover. Unfortunately for the fox, it makes them vulnerable to being shot while hunting. But then, a fox chili is very tasty indeed.

Wow, that is pretty amazing to watch. Dinosaur, I've never had fox meat. How else do you prepare it besides in a chili? I don’t care for chili.

It makes a good stew, can be prepared like a pot roast, or you can cut thin steaks from the hind legs that make excellent sandwiches when pan fried.

We watched a show that had this right when it first came out and I was just amazed by it. I have only seen a few up close (close enough for me that is), and I never realized how great their ears were.

It is amazing how each species has it's own set of skills when it comes to survival. A fox has a very keen sense of hearing and of smell.
