How much does the average grey squirrel weight?

Bout half as much as the red fox squirrel our rule of thumb when cooking in the woods 1 fox squirrel per man 2 grey cat squirrels per man. Of course thas with a pot of rice and the squirrels cooked down in onion gravy in the black iron pot.

probably 1 lb although where I work they are more like 1 1/3 lbs

I don't know about your eastern grey but I'd say the western grey runs 1-2 lbs so 11/2 would be the average.
