Walking Stick

While hiking this weekend my wife and I found this neat little guy. The engineering of the walking stick is so incredible. It really does look like a stick! I am always amazed when I find these.

Great picture, thanks for sharing. It is amazing how mother nature has so cleverly thought out the design of certain animals. That is the sort of animal you miss unless you are really paying attention.

That kills me! How does something like that evolve? People say that over the years it will evolve by nessesity because of it's environment. If that's the case, I should be much better looking than with the mug I got stuck with!
