For those who have a personal routine like meditation, yoga or other exercises, are you able to maintain the routine during your camping trips? How do you do that without drawing others attention?
I read old news about a drunk man who climbed onto the back of a crocodile and got his leg bitten. He was stupid but surprisingly the crocodile let him go and didn't inflict worse damage.
How do you keep snakes away from your camping tent? I was told that putting salt or ash from your campfire around your tent will do the trick. Have you ever tried it?
Great tips Michael, thanks. What about food? I read that ginger, pepper and cinnamon have warming effects in your body. I think taking food with the spices added before you hike will help a bit.
I prefer national forests also but Wendolyn has a good point about the wild life. That's why in national forests, I prefer to go in group. I have no issue hiking alone in state parks.
Yeah, I agree with you about taking a picture of the flower and do nothing else with it. On trekking trails, I will take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, and kill nothing but time. 8-:
Hi, I am new in this forum (but not so new to trekking and camping). It's even my first post, as if it's important LOL). Glad to find this forum and get used to me. :)
