I love reading about everyone's tents and the reasons their tents do and don't work for their situations! We have a small, two-person tent. There's no way our family of five can use it all together, but it works well for weekend trips with one adult and one child.

I'm not patient enough for gold panning! My parents recently joined a gold panning/digging co-op and have enjoyed panning on the claims the co-op owns. They haven't found any gold worth more than the gas it takes them to drive to the claims though.

We have a small trailer we can attach to our ATV. It's perfect for hauling "women's wood" from the woods up to the house. It doesn't hold enough to effectively haul enough wood for our heating needs, but it's perfect for the times my eight year old son wants to help out.

I plan on collecting leaves, pine cones and branches to freeze in ice forms and hang from the trees during winter. Berries would look pretty, too. I'll probably use about 1" of water in a bundt pan so I can tie a string through the center to hang the frozen bird feeder.
