Binoculars

Can anyone tell me a good name brand that has reasonably priced binoculars? I got mine out last month and they are just so old they are worthless.

There's a mighty wide range available for optics. Kids got me a little set of Bushnell 10 x 25 that I sometimes carry backpacking. They work good for cheap and small enough to fit in a shirt pocket. At the other end, Swarovski is the ultimate choice around here with the serious trophy hunters. Nikon and Leupold are very good mid range. It all depends on how serious you are for getting a good look and how much you want to spend.

How much are you looking to spend and what are you mainly going to use them for? There are all types of price ranges out there but knowing what you need/want helps since you can check prices and compare.

I have to agree there's a wide range available. You really just have to go and look to see what you want. I would rather pick a set out in person and then get the best deal I can on the internet.
