Checking the list before coming home

I know most of us make a checklist before going to camp to be ascertained that we don't forget anything needed during the camping trip. Do you also check the list again before leaving the camping site to make sure that you leave nothing on the site?

We just make sure that everything is cleaned and picked up. So far, we haven't left anything behind that we didn't know was already lost before we started to head home.

I do check a list in my head all the time. But that's easy if you don't carry that much stuff plus if you know where each stuff goes. I need only a minute to check where everything is.

I'm guilty here. I lost my N73 cellphone because I did not checked my bag before we left the camping site. My hubby scolded me for being careless. We returned in the camping site the next day. It was too late because my cellphone was not there. You must learn something from my experience.
