Getting hurt

Have you or someone you were camping with have some sort of accident while you were camping? Did you have to rush out of the woods? Do you plan for emergencies?

We had an emergency last year. One of the guys I was camping with was setting up a canopy that had metal poles. It had rained and the poles were wet. He went to drill the poles together and the drill slipped and went through his hand.

I had to rush him to the ER. We were an hour away. It wasn't a fun trip.

Oh, my Outdooruser tha doesn't sound like a fun trip at all! So far we have been lucky and no one has ever been hurt beyond a few bumps and bruises on our trips.
