I don't think I posted this, so here it is.

A local area near our town. When TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) fills our lake up for the summer, it makes for some great paddling up creek channels that are inaccessible when they pull plug on the lake.

It was a warm morning, so we figured we would get some paddling in before the sun beat down.

We had to maneuver around some fallen trees. A couple of spots it was a tight squeeze getting around.Compress_20240826_185858_8860.jpgCompress_20240826_185859_9505.jpg

Nice canoe.
Have you ever thought of getting yourself a nice wood paddle to go with it? Or making one?
I really like beavers. Otters and mink swimming under the boat are even better.

I finished a couple of paddles since then. IMG_20240811_120930714.jpg
I used one on my last paddling. They are light and the blade is flexible. I should've made them narrower. Wife hasn't used one yet. We'll probably go out this weekend.
