I woke up from a deep sleep.
It was totally black.
I quickly turned on the night light and was instantly relieved.
I hadn't lost my sight.
When the light was off it was like totally black.
It doesn't happen often when one experiences this circumstance.
It's a little spooky.
And then it came...
Without fanfare, the droplet began to fall.
I rolled over and went back to sleep.
