It's been a long winter and the past weekend was my first time out. Noting spectacular, just a weekend on the Saugeen River with friends. I'm hoping for something a little more adventurers come July, August, and September [an 11-day outing].
It was a leisurely trip with a small group. I used my A-frame tent. The days were sunny and bright but in the evening it poured rain. Spring flowers were everywhere along the banks, and the water was still very much cold. My colleague bought a new canoe for this year at the cost of $4,000.00. I almost choked. The trails we hiked were full of cedar trees and there were these large rocks on the group than looked like woodpeckers had pecked.
