Party barge

Does anyone own one? We've been talking about buying a boat and I'm torn between something with a little speed or a party barge that has more floor space. I like the idea of being able to move around comfortably and have room for friends and the kids if we want to take anyone along. But the idea of cruising around the lake at 50mph sounds appealing too.

I don't own a big boat but I've been on a few in my time. Some of the best parties I've been to have been on the lake. It's always fun swimming and being with friends in the sun.

I do not own a big boat, but a smaller one. However, we have tied up to a bigger one and had a great time. It is fun to get them all together. I agree with peanut, some of the best parties are on the lake with everyone together, tying up the boats and skiing and tubing and swimming and having a great time.
