There are many menial tasks in life that must be repeated frequently. I am no Buddhist but have learned from them the concept of mindfulness. To do the dishes with a sense of purpose and a light heart goes a long way to life more fulfilling not to mention fun.
The next time you set up your tent, I suggest taking as long as possible to pause for laughing at your partner's jokes, watching wildlife, and enjoying the scent of the woods.
