Mosquito Maddness

I just can't take it anymore! I cannot find anything that works well to keep mosquitoes away from me and I am so frustrated. I have an allergy to certain chemicals that are in the high powered commercial brands of repellent so I need something that is more of a natural solution, but everything I have tried so far is a joke when I'm deep in the woods. I hate these little buggers and I am sick to death of them ruining my outdoor experiences.

In your article, it lists several oils:

* Citronella Oil
* Lemon Eucalyptus Oil
* Cinnamon Oil
* Castor Oil
* Rosemary Oil
* Lemongrass Oil
* Cedar Oil
* Peppermint Oil
* Clove Oil
* Geranium Oil
* Possibly Oils from Verbena, Pennyroyal, Lavender, Pine, Cajeput, Basil, Thyme, Allspice, Soybean, and Garlic

Many of those are found in the Burt's Bees repellent ... so it might work!

I thought of Citronella products too, including candles. I'm not sure if that would work in the deep woods or not.

Wasn't there at least a theory about taking some kind of vitamin B supplement or something like that for a while to naturally repel mosquitoes?

I'll have to look for this. The mosquitoes haven't been horrid here yet, but it's only mid July so there's still plenty of time for that to change, unfortunately.
