New Guy at Basecamp

Hi everyone,
I live in Southern California and joined this community hoping to get some good advice and hopefully meet some people that share the same interests as myself. I have been scuba diving for 3 years, camping since I was a kid, fly fishing for about two years, and I am now looking to start backpacking and bringing my fly fishing equipment and incorporating the two together.
