Over night trip this weekend.

Got out for a short over night trip on Friday. Hit the trail about 7pm hiked about 5 miles and made camp to enjoy a warm dinner and the sounds of nature. Turns out left stove on other pack so that was a dumb move. However still got warm dinner just boiled water over a camp fire for a backpackers Pantry dinner.

Nice pics. Wish I was camping this weekend. Instead at a conference for the weekend. We are planning to go snowshoeing with my parents sometime real soon, sounds like lots of fun!

Great pictures! I'm headed out for a day or two on the Long Trail on Wednesday. Mainly camping but backpacking in about 3-4 miles in 3 feet of snow.

Great pics! Thanks a ton for sharing. I wish it was warm enough and safe enough to hike. It's pretty icy all around us right now, I don't dare to head out in the woods, for fear of falling.

Every tried snowshoeing. Sounds like it would be a blast I have been wanting to. Would sure give the option to get out more.
