It is and old movie, yes but it's one of the greatest movies ever. I have watched it more than five times I guess. I think it is one of the best Robert de Niro's movies. I love the deer hunting scenes in the movie though I never hunted deers myself. What do you think? Is there anything we can learn from the scenes?

Thanks for reminding me about this movie, it's been a long time since I've seen it. It's about time I put it in my Netflix queue.

I have started this movie on several occasions and never been able to make it through it. Is it just a really slow starter or something?

Oh yeah. I had forgotten all about that until you just brought it up. I have to say that I agree that it was the best movie ever! I do not think it is slow if you really pay attention to the subtle details.

I agree with you. Yeah it's not so fast-paced as Inception or Salt, but it's not slow as all. Before I think it's just about deer hunting. I don't thing there are also dramatic war scenes in Vietnam also.
