Watch out for opening car doors....

My sister went bike riding yesterday, and someone on the passenger side of a vehicle happened to swing open the door and knocked her down! She was ok, just a few scrapes, but I just thought I'd remind everyone to stay as far to the right as possible when riding on a sidewalk....

Any time you go past a car-whether you are on a bike, a motorbike, or are driving a car, you should always leave a door's width in case the door opens. It's common sense.

I'm glad she's ok and I hope that the car she hit was ok, and I am betting she learned a hard lesson.
