    Ocoee River Rafting

Has anyone been whitewater rafting in Tennessee on the Ocoee River? Were looking to take our youth group and are researching one adventure site that has a great looking set up with other activities as well. We want to stay in the bunk houses but it depends on how much money we raise.

    Search and rescue

I live close to a popular hiking area in my state and constantly have helicopters coming on an average of once a month to assist someone who's lost or hurt so I do think it's fair in regards to those that are going off track. After all even a ride in a ambulance is charged to the patients bill...

    Gear Sites

I don't do much on line shopping for gear, unless I can look at it in a store first to see if I like it and then find a cheaper price.

    Surfing

For you surfers out there, what preferences do you have - the long board or the short board? I would think most of you work the short board but I personally like the easy handling in the water and the feel of cruising the wave on the long board.

    Steep Hills

I don't know a lot about biking, especially up big inclines but I do know slow and steady wins, and when theres momentum, rhythm and stamina you should be able to get it done. Also don't be afraid to fall, the fear will mess with your mind every time.

    Places With Cannibals

Yes, I think so too, sometimes its hard to change cultures where rituals and traditions are a big part of who they are and who they come from ancestrally. Theres a lot of stuff out there that most would consider wrong but there are still those that do drink real human blood and societies that...

    Risk of watersports

It would depend on where you were doing these activities whether it's the lake or the ocean and how you are in the water. If you think you'd freak out even with a life jacket on then don't do it, at least until your more comfortable.

    I've never heard of Spelunking

I've never heard of Spelunking before I came to this forum but I'm still not sure what exploring "wild" caves means. It sounds like it has a different level of excitement from rock climbing, how does someone take up spelunking?
