accessorizing my new mountain bike - need suggestions/help

So I just bought a Gary Fisher Wahoo and I want to get a few things for it to make it a bit more commuter friendly - any suggestions or opinions would be great - I have been ridding trails and going around town so i want it to be a multi-use bike.

For the lights, I use the Planet Bike SuperFlash Stealth Bicycle Tail Light for the rear light. I then use a flashlight with a flashlight adapter kit. The flashlight is MTE SSC P7 C-Bin 900-Lumen 8-Mode LED Flashlight. The adapter kit is this DealExtreme: $2.89 Universal Bicycle Mount for Flashlights and Gadgets (2cm~3cm Diameter Adjustable)

It works well. The batteries where a bit a of a pain to find. Had to get them online too. So I bought rechargeables with a recharger.
