I had the privilege to ride a horse while traveling a mountain in Mexico last month. That the first time I rode a horse for 2 hours and it hurt my legs after reaching our destination. Is this normal or am I getting old? :tinysmile_fatgrin_t
Do you normally ride a horse? If not, then it's normal. Your butt should have hurt too from riding in the saddle so long. Heck I'm sore after riding a 4-wheeler I can't imagine what I would feel like if I rode a horse.
I've read many different suggestions on how to treat sore muscles, etc after a long ride, be it by pedal or motor; however, I'm pretty "old school," and find nothing beats a very hot soak, Epson Salts and a few cold ones! Ride safe!
