I have a CCW permit. I don't think I would have a problem shooting someone who was threatening me or my family. I have pulled it before in a big city when someone pulled up beside me and was trying to get in my car. All I had to do was raise it up in their sight and they left in a hot hurry. I still carry it all of the time.

I do have my CCW permit but in my state (Georgia) if you have a concealed license you can also open carry. Generally I carry concealed but my husband openly carries often. I never leave home without at least one gun and a magazine to spare.

Sorry to say I'm in the not so great state if Illinois. One of the last states to battle the CCW issue. As of right now it's not going too well either. Chicago and Cook county are the main reason for this. If I could afford to, I'd move out of this political corrupt place and live in peace somewhere else.
