Fishing license and ID check?

Anyone get checked yet? How about fined for not having them?

I have never been checked. But I think the law has just changed where you need a license to fish from shore too. I do not often to go places like public peers for my fishing though. I like the little spots where there is not many people.

I had only been checked once in my lifetime. The officer didn't even really look at it, he just glanced at it as I was holding it up. But other than that, nope, not at all.

I don't have my fishing liscense. My daughter is 8 and loves to fish. She will go out on the dock and fish and I watch her from the shore.
Every once in a while she can't get the fish off the hook, so I do go out and help her. I have never been caught though. Is it a big fine?

Do children even have to have a license? I mean as long as the parent has one wouldn't it be okay? Personally I have never had my license checked and I don't actually think I know anyone who has.
