Has anyone fluke-fished before? Can you share us your tips on fluke fishing? I heard that their fillets are beautiful and delicious to eat. And what kind of bait should be used for fluke fishing?

When I go fishing it is a fluke that I catch a fish. LOL.
But to answer your question I have no idea, as I have never been fishing for fluke. I'm sure somebody here can give you some tips.

[FONT=geneva, verdana, arial]You will be looking for a sandy or muddy bottom in an inshore location, a good current that gather debris and bait fish is a plus.

You will want to drift bait along the bottom. Keep the reel open and put a thumb on the line to help control the slack. Casting baited red and white bucktail jigs with strips of squid is also a good method.

Maybe someone with some more experience came give some better tips.
