I cut a piece of Tyvek for my LightHeartGear solo, a tarp for the big tent and a matching footprint for my half-dome.

I don't remember anything about new underpants, but I do remember getting new shoes every year. I think they use to call them Mary Janes. They always hurt your feet until you broke them in.
