Ice Storms

How are you all doing after those awful ice storms came through? Ice storms make for pretty scenery, but no electricity and branches coming down are no fun.

We have had no ice but we received plenty of rain, enough that everything still looks like a mini swamp. We are on day two of sunny skies but it is not nearly warm enough out yet, it is mid-morning and the ground is still frozen solid (along with the mud the rain gave us).

There's a story in the news about a house that was severely damaged due to ice laden limbs falling on the roof. Luckily no one was home at the time. Ice is just not my thing.

We are just fine here in the south east but I can't say the same for the rest of the country! Philadelphia got hit pretty hard. Did you guys see the clips from the Eagles and Lions game?

We did get a lot of snow but not a lot of ice. We never lost electricity though. We did have our generator all ready to go. We didn't need to use it though. It sounds like most of us stayed out of the storms path!
