Looks like fun but if I was you I'd scrap that cheap rain coat and buy something better. Of course hiking in a rain like that even the best gear will not keep you totally dry. It was wise to not take any greenies along on that trip. It would have probably DAMPENED their spirits.LOL (Sorry I couldn't resist.)

And a great time was had by all? Sounds like a good trip to me. I'm not a big rain fan but being out in the rain is still better than not being out at all. Thanks for an excellent report.
