Salt water for bad breath

It is believed that a strong salt solution is good to kill odor-producing bacteria in your mouth. I think it is a good alternative to commercial mouthwash I am not a fan of.

That sounds about right. Salt has many uses that a lot of people don't realize. But I agree with you on the mouthwash, I don't like the fact that it has alcohol in it.

I doubt it tastes yummy but I am sure it would work. The only issue I might see is if someone had an open cut in their mouth or maybe on their lips, the stinging would not be the best.

Salt water works well for me. I have no issue with the bad taste. It's not so bad actually, just salty. :) It's much better than the stinging mouthwash.

When I was a kid, I was very scared to see our family dentist. Even so, he extracted a rotten tooth from my mouth and allowed me to gargle saltwater to wash away the blood from my gum. It was warm and relaxing.
