Short canoe ride - first this season

Since the temperatures made it up in the mid-50s, I had to get outside for a bit. Being cooped up all winter drives me nuts and by this time, I really get antsy. It was so nice out, I had to take a bit of a paddle down the river. Only went about a mile, as the current was still pretty strong and it was windier on the water, so made it a bit chilly, but at least I got out for a bit!

50* is good enough weather for canoeing. One the ice breaks up here, I'll be out too.

That's right - you folks in Wisconsin had a pretty rough winter, didn't you? I've seen a lot of storm reports for out that way with tons of snow. Even though I complain about winter, we actually didn't have it very bad this year at all, where I am.
