Since when did you learn fishing?

I learned how to fish when I was rather very young--5 years old. My cousin and I would dig for worms, put them in the bait and go to the irrigation system by the rice field. When I felt a force at the end of the line my heartbeat would go faster at the prospect of a catch. They were small fish, about the size of my fingers. Boy, it was so much fun!

Very very young, grew up among commercial fish/lobstermen. Didn't fish at all from probably 11th grade to age 30. I fish when I can now but pretty much small freshwater fish. Current favorite target is smallmouth bass. Kids love going for yellow perch because of how aggressive and plentiful they are here.

I have been fishing as long as I can remember. I have pictures of me and my dad on a lake when I was 3. I used to beg my dad to take me out. I'm looking forward to introducing it to my future children.
