Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, is about the size of the state of California. It's rugged, beautiful, and temperate (read: wetcoast rainforest).

Famous for it's fishing, it brags something else that makes it a unique camping destination:Horne Lake Park and Little Hustan caves.

If unfettered wilds, lush surroundings, and lake fishing appeal, this is a trip for you.

Wow, that reads like a great place to visit... it also sounds quite remote.

QUOTE:
How To Get Here: Take the Zeballos turnoff from Highway 19 and follow the signs down gravel roads for 21 kilometres.

I used Google Maps to find 'Zeballos', that is some remote turf.
