Tents and Luxuries

What type of luxuries do you bring along when you camp out in a tent? Do you bring a TV or DVD player? What about a fan for the hot nights? With me it depends on where we go to camp at and if there is electricity.

You're smarter than the average bear. I don't carry that stuff but if someone in camp has it, I'll use it. Still.....A long time ago, a buddy of mine gave me a battery powered TV for tailgate camping. I took it with but never used it. The campfire was quite entertaining enough.

A book light is about as high tech as I get for camping trips. The crickets make as much music to listen to as I will ever need when I'm out there!

I always carry a backpack, mesh hammock. Great for soothing a strained carcass.

I've got to have a book of some type. I love a campfire but I really have to have a light to read by. Otherwise I get bored. I'm not much for talking and tend to be rather quiet.

Whoopie pies and LED headlamps. A book. That's about as far into luxury as I get unless you want to count fishing lures or a splitter axe.
