I just watched a PBS local story about this blind man who hiked the AT. It was truly inspirational!

When I think of all the diversity on a mountain path, I'm astounded that he could do the entire trail, even with a good guide dog.

I think this just goes to show that you can do anything you put your mind to. Glad to hear he didn't let his blindness stop him from doing something he wanted to do.

This is an amazing story indeed. I will give him credit for now wallowing in his blindness and pursuing his love of hiking. I just hope all goes well for him.

I wont bore you with a long story. I know people who have not issues at all that are depressed because of the words "I can't do that" You are only handicapped if you allow yourself to be.
