What is a good scuba diving age?

When do you think the best time for a young person to start scuba diving. Do you think they should be in their late teens, or is this something you should wait to learn in your 20s?

Well I if the child shows a bit interest in it I would check with some dive schools and see what age they start them. I'm sure they have some at all ages, so they would be the ones to advise you.

Yeah, I think it depends on the child. For the most part kids I see scuba diving start when they are 13-15, which seems like a pretty good age for it.

I dunno, I think it takes more patience and maturity than pre teens have. I would say that a good age would be like 16-19. Of course I am told I am way to over protective.
